In 2010 and 2011, the pancake breakfasts served in the soup kitchen have been hugely successful in terms of the hundreds of happy diners who feasted on fluffy pancakes, savory sausages, juices and coffee.

Plenty of volunteers ensure guests are greeted and seated, and that plates and coffee cups are filled and refilled. The volunteers come from the Soup Kitchen, the Food Pantry, the Seeds of Hope Committee, and the Soup Kitchen host church - First Presbyterian of Wildwood.

The cooks, and not a chef among them, are folks who love to cook (and bring plenty of experience with them), don't mind getting up at the crack of dawn, and obviously enjoy feeding folks.

Seeds of Hope Chair, Donna Ford Vierow, goes from table to table sharing the "Seeds Story" with interested guests. Co-Chair Bonnie Oliver Kusky and husband Carl provide the excellent photography.  It's good that folks can see where their Seeds of Hope donations are going when they come to the pancake breakfast at the Soup Kitchen.
